Meet David Isaac

CEO/President, Blue Skate LLC & Blue Skate Youth Development Foundation

David has spent over 35 years teaching roller skating — building confidence, community, and lifelong skills for skaters of every age. He's taught hundreds of students around the world, including at the Skate Love Festival 2021 in Barcelona, and brings 25+ years of tech industry experience to how he runs Blue Skate.

Blue Skate LLC partners with NYCDOE, NYC Parks, Millennium Development, Chaya Skates, and Substance Skatepark to mentor youth — pairing skating skills with life skills like resilience, safety, and getting back up after a fall.

Three Days of Growth, Confidence, and Unforgettable Memories

Experience three exciting days where children and families learn new skating skills, build confidence, and create lasting friendships. Through expert instruction and a fun, supportive environment, Blue Skate helps every participant grow both on and off the rink.

Blue Skate also rewards students for doing well in school by offering incentives that encourage academic excellence. Open to students from kindergarten through high school, the program inspires kids to succeed in the classroom while having fun on skates.

Blue Skate is more than learning to skate. It's about bringing families, neighbors, and communities together through movement, laughter, and shared experiences. Our events create a welcoming space where people of all ages can connect, celebrate, and enjoy the positive impact of an active and united community.
